1965 Stevens 311 20 Gauge Coach Gun Conversion

This was built for a buddy of mine up in Georgia who has been wanting a .20 Gauge Coach for critter control on his mountain property. The donor gun had numerous issues, the worst being the fractured and incorrect furniture. First, I got the gun in working condition, then I repaired the lumber. I used a wooden dowel and brass straps to secure some cracks. The stock is from a different model and needed some finessing to make fit. He liked the African Wenge butt plates I had shaped for several other guns, so I made one for his out of a beautiful piece I found. I also included is a colored spacer plate and hand-turned, polished brass doorknob bead… I love the character this old gal has. Barrels 18”, 1” removed from stock, LOP 13.5” and 12.5”, Overall length 33.75”
