Before and after: 1978 Ruger Security Six .357 restoration
I’m not sure how this gun got so jacked up, but I just had to get her back into working shape. Considering it’s stainless steel, covered in some light rust and the steel sights were quite corroded, I assume this old gal may have possibly been exposed to salt water. Maybe it was stored on a boat.
I replaced the sights and internals and got her back into working order. She’s just a beautiful and classic gun.
