JARBO - Belgian Simonis, Janseen & Dumoulin (S. J. D. & Co.) Custom Coach

From what I was able to gather the gun was manufactured some time between 1883 to 1914 — Such a cool, classic, old school rabbit ear… Built for a guy who wanted to turn an old gun he had into a custom coach. I shortened the barrel to 18.2”, chopped a bit off the stock, and designed some custom typography and engraved it in-house. Made a hand-shaped African wenge wood butt plate with polished brass hardware. Hand-turned and polished brass doorknob front bead, and polished the steel front to back. One of the firing pin retaining screws was stripped, so I tapped the retaining pin channel and made some polished brass retaining screws. I really like the look of them, so I may do that again on a future project. Overall, a classy firearm.
