John P. Lovell & Sons 12 gauge coach gun

Turn of the century customized John P. Lovell & Sons coach gun in 12 gauge with amazing character! Serial #7949. Sweet Factory engraving. Extractors. The barrels have been shortened to 18.5”. The chambers have been lengthened to 2.75”. Hand-shaped, polished brass "Cracker Swamp Road" front bead. The stock is coated with 10 layers of my own “White Lightning” shellac. The stock was shortened by 1.5" and has beautiful character and grain. The butt plate is hand-shaped from African Wenge wood and attached with polished brass hardware. This old gal shows beautiful patina, character and imperfections that you can only get with a firearm of its age. LOP is 12.5” and 13.5”… Overall length 34”.
